This reminded me of Eddie Arnold and some of the country crooners of the early 60's. Due to the musical style and the chord changes.
Nicely done including the faded ending.... that was used a lot in that time period.
my thoughts exactly... and maybe even a little into the 70's with artists like Glenn Campbell Dani... nice job! Keep 'em coming!

I have never heard Eddie
Arnold before (now I have
listened to him on Utube)!!
Glenn Campbell, what a fine
singer/player !!! I guess
he is much remembered for
Galveston, Wichita Lineman
and likewise unbeaten evergreens ?
I have also admired him in "True Grit" that
I have made a cover version of
somewhere !!
