The old version 12 wasn't installed to the Applications folder. The new one is instaled to the Applications folder.
If you want to get your old styles added to the new version, you could do the following.
The "old" styles folder is /Band-in-a-Box(tm)/Styles
The "new" styles folder is /Applications/Band-in-a-Box/Styles
You don't want to overwrite any styles in the New folder, so you could copy all styles from the "New" to the "Old" folder (overwriting styles in the Old folder), and then back again from the Old to the New folder. That would insure that your New Folder doesn't have any files overwritten.
Do the same thing for the Soloist folder.
The songs can be loaded in from anywhere, so you could move those if you wanted, or leave them where they are.

Highlights include Brent Mason (electric guitar), Eddie Bayers (drums), Doug Jernigan (pedal steel), John Jarvis (piano), Glen Duncan (banjo, mandolin & fiddle), Mike Harrison (electric bass) and more—offering everything from modern sounds to heartfelt Americana styles
