The fact you don't see RBSeq32.dll in the expected folder tells me it did not install to that location correctly.

And no, activation should not matter (you should get a popup if it did), it sounds like your shortcut link is possibly pointing at the wrong directory.

Try using Windows Explorer (or File Explorer) to navigate to the correct Realband.exe file in the external drive folder.
If it shows up there it should work for you.

The problem with external drives is the letter for the drive designation can change. So if your shortcut points to K:\Realband and when you plugged the drive in again it registered as G:\Realband it can lead to issues.

Like I said; if you see the file Realband.exe in File Explorer you'll likely be able to run it. .
