I have a 64 bit windows 8.1 ultrabook.... I am looking to re-install BIAB 2007 and forte DXi.... I appreciate the software is 7 years old, but is it compatible with Win 8.1?

I run Coyote Forte DXi today on a win 8.1, however BIAB 2007, don't know why it would not run but I have not seen that in seven years

both Forte DXi and BIAB 2007.5 should run (Forte DXi runs in Win 7 64 on my machine) so you should be golden - just not up to date.
Install and find out - won't hurt anything

I run Coyote Forte just fine on both my Win7 64-bit machine and my Win8.1 64-bit machine.

Welcome to the forums. I responded to the same question of yours in another post.
I don't know the answer, but I would advise to purchase the latest version (2018). It will be difficult to get support for a 10+ year old version. If you have problems with 2007, you may find them quite difficult to resolve.
