Well....
I'm not really qualified to offer a real BIAB tip.
But...I got it today and installed to the USB drive as my laptop (win 7 - 4 gig RAM) doesn't have enough disk space. (90 gig needed to install to C: drive)
After installation and typing in serial # install was successful.
Then a prompt came up (bottom right) suggested an update to build 411.
So..I clicked on it but it's taking a looooong time.
I'm at only 4% and it's been over 20 minutes.
Note also that BIAB stays open during this process.
EDIT: just noticed that 'Automatic check for updates' is checked by default after install.
The tip: should one do that make sure you've got time to burn and get a Sam Adams or goblet of Merlot to keep you company.
