Just got BIAB 2015 with most current updated(411). Wrote a new song using BIAB 2015. Opened the same song in Real Band and worked on it until I was happy with it. Saved it to a wave. It saved properly. Went back to BIAB turned off all the instruments an invoked a BLANK style. I do this a lot. Never a problem.I imported the wave into BIAB and..... it CHANGED the key of the wave. The song is in Bb and it changed the wave to F#.
I went to my other computer which still has 2014 and took the Real Band file I was working with...I performed the very same procedures and it worked fine. No key change. I then saved the good BIAB file to a flash drive. I then opened that with the computer with 2015. It changed the key of wave file embedded in the song. What's going on?
Press the Song Settings button, and set the setting at the bottom "Transpose Audio Tracks by" to 0 semitones...
You likely imported the track, and then changed the key signature and transposed the tune. With 2015, that also transposes the audio track, which is a "feature". You can control it easily via this setting.
And once its set the way you want, you could then transpose that piece using the keysig box again, and it will tranpose to your new key.
