Great feature Dr. Gannon. Could I just save the file and send it by email rather than posting it to YouTube? Am thinking this would be a great collaboration tool rather than a posting tool.

Just curious, anyone got this to work? I installed the update but when I try, it gets to a certain point where the window title says:
"Rendering video: 0% done ... please wait"
then nothing - just stays there.
Win8.1 64bit, Intel I7 4700MQ, 8GB ram, 1TB HD, Studio One Artist, Melodyne Essential, Musescore

It looks like a file was missing from the beta installer update, preventing the videos from getting made. You'd need to run the updated installer, when it is ready, later today.

Please note that this is just the first version of this feature, and we plan on adding more features in a free patch update soon. For example, it currently uses a specific Windows video codec, and makes an AVI file (that is acceptable to YouTube). Future versions will allow you to choose any video codec on your system, so that the files could be in your preferred format.

Thanks Peter,
The "b" patch download fixed it. As an aside, I noticed that the generated avi doesn't play correctly using Windows Media Player on my Windows 8.1 - some warning messages and then no sound as it plays through. Plays OK with VLC though, and the YouTube upload of the avi works.
