Hi Edward,

If you recorded a melody, it can only be recorded in two places: (a) the Melody Track and (b) the Soloist track.

With the introduction of version 2015, these tracks now get renamed depending on what instrument is located on them. Even though that happens, they are STILL the Melody Track and the Soloist Track.

Have a look at the image below ...



The Melody Track has been renamed "Reed" because it has a midi clarinet on it.

The Soloist Track has been renamed "Piano" because it has a midi piano on it.

Because of this, the Melody Track gets an "R" on the lead sheet and the Soloist Track gets a "P". These are STILL the Melody and Soloist Tracks, though. It doesn't matter what letter they have on them.

How to identify the tracks ...

SOLOIST TRACK = the button on the far right

MELODY TRACK = the button immediately to the left of the Soloist button

You don't have to press a different button, it's always the button that's second from the right for the Melody Track.
