+ 1 from me.
Merry Christmas.

And another +1.

A good write. Terrific arrangement and mix. The vocal is nicely recorded (I like that reverb) and the harmonies are nice.

One of your best!

floyd

Thank you very much Floyd. That's the new delay from NI tweaked of course.

Josie,

Thanks for whole heartedly acknowledging your faith in your music! I like and respect that!

This is a nice song that would play well in any church's Christmas service or on the radio during the season, or on somebody's CD or MP3 player as they worked around the house. I have tried using the horns and could never get them to fit for me, but I thought they worked very well in this song, especially on the verse "Child of heaven, Son of Man", as the melody and the horns were a good match.

I also really liked
Quote:
"His name is Wonderful, Marvelous, Glorious,
Comforter, Counsellor, Prince of Peace,
All Mighty God"

Your mix is very clear... basically everything about the song works for me!

I sometimes listen with a guitar and try to figure out the chords as I listen to showcase songs, but I'm on a different computer that isn't near my instruments... but it sounds like the last time you sang "God is with us" you switched from playing a C major chord to a C maj7, which threw me for a loop the first time I heard it. Every other time you sang to the C major chord, but when you ended singing to the Cmaj7 it struck my ear wrong. Switching to the Maj7 makes for a clever ending changeup, but I think it would sound more resolved if you kept the straight C maj chord. (Standard disclaimer applies about the listener's opinion vs the song writer's creative choices. I think you have good judgment about what works in a song... far better than mine, in fact)

In conclusion, I enjoyed this quite a bit! One more Josie Beck home run!
Thanks for the lovely Christmas song, and I wish you a merry Christmas!
