Here is how to recreate it:

1. Open the RealDrums Picker and if needed, click the "Style Name" column to make sure the list is "sorted ascending" (e.g. sort Blues... before Bodhran... etc.) and for simplicity, check that there are no favorites (*) set up on any columns yet.

2. put an asterisk (*) in the "favorites" column on the following two RealDrums Styles:

BluesShuffleHard^
BluesShuffle^

3. click the "OK" button to close the picker dialog box

4. re-open the picker and if your system is like mine, you will see that there is only one style marked as a favorite

I tried different tests and it appears that the trigger is having an ascending sort by style name, and choosing specific combinations of styles that I want as favorites.

Whenever I pick a couple of styles where the names do not have a traditional alphanumeric ascending sort order, the problem occurs.

For example, I can make it happen if the two styles are "BossaBrushesSwing" and "BossaBrushes". It also happens with a combination of "CountryShuffle68^" and "CountryShuffle".

In each test case, one of the two styles does not display as a favorite after I close and re-open the picker.

I assume it happens whenever the "top" style sorts "higher" than the "bottom" style in the list.

It gets really comical when you try to then fix the problem from within the picker. If you set an asterisk on the style that is missing the asterisk, then close and re-open the picker, the problem reverses itself!
