Bob, thanks for the ideas. I do frequently edit tracks, but I haven't done this in RB very much (and not at all in BiaB.)

For most of the songs I sequence, it takes more time that I want to put in to make the arrangement something special, mostly I generate standard vanilla 40s tracks - head in, 1-3 solo choruses depending on speed, and one out. Whoopee... But it's a restaurant, not a concert.

So BiaB generally is perfect for these tunes, and sounds WAY, WAY better than my earlier default - iReal Pro on the iPad, a wonderful tool, but with very limited audio options. If I need a specific bass line for a song, either I take the time to create one or rethink the arrangement - came up with a cool version of Watermelon man that way; the stock options usually produce excellent results.

But the bottom line is I really just need to learn this tool better, so I can do what it is CAPABLE of, not just what I know about (still have a couple hundred unread pages in the manual...) So I have more to do over the holiday...

So MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAZE etc. to you, Noel and the rest of the gang here.

It's all about the music.
(I keep telling myself that...)
