P'tit lu all...
I can't find any 12/8 (16th shuffle) styles. I'd like to have a groove near the Toto's classical "Rosanna".
Did you seen a style like that?

Hi Spawn-X,
I had a look and auditioned a few styles myself but when I tried it with the correct chords they were all lacking. You really need a style with that distinctive drum beat and keyboard backing.
Just a thought and something I haven't tried myself as a relative newbie to BIAB 2015 - you could try making a Usertrack in that style. In fact I might give it a go myself to get up to speed on creating usertracks... Just not right now as I have family here for Christmas and New Year.

A work around would be to import a MIDI version of the song - there are many, just google/bing - or import an audio version and create a style from them.
OK, a random thought;

If you import a midi file you can use the style maker to make your own
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini Sonoma with 16 gig of ram, BiaB/RB 2026, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 11 , Presonus Audiobox USB96

Hey MarioD and Robh, Thanks for the tip; that works really well  I tried it with a .kar file and the import worked great. I know it's not my question or thread but I will certainly find that useful as I suspect will Spawn-X. BIAB even selected a style which seems to work as a basis for entering the song chords manually into BIAB (MILESFNK.STY). Rec

To get a cover close to it's original groove with BB... it kinda helps if you can play some of the parts yourself. In a situation such as that, you look for the bass and drum part that comes closest and fill in the other things yourself. But... one issue with rock music especially, and even more so with some of the better rock bands.... they had their own distinctive way of playing.....drums and bass especially.... so that becomes really hard to replicate with BB. It's easier to do with some of the drum synths where you can program all the hits yourself.
The other option is to do "your version" of it with the available styles and grooves in BB. Some will be close and some not.
Imagine trying to use BB to replicate a Genesis, Rush, or Tower of Power song.
