RT 2491 piano acoustic Rhythm Rockabilly RocknRollKevin Ev 165 (softLH) and a couple other in that package are not generating properly. the start and stop and do not transition properly. they place endings in the middle and other weird issues.

Tried them on both RB and BiaB, and tried several different tempos, same results.

Hi RobH

We have been working on fixing the issue with the gaps in the RealTrack 2491 Piano, Acoustic Rhythm Rockabilly RocknRollKevin Ev 165 (SoftLH). We have been able to reproduce and fix the issue with gaps in the playing and the clunky sound of the RealTrack, but we never found an ending in the middle of the song. If you have a frozen copy of a song with an ending in the middle of the song can you please email it to support@pgmusic.com.

Thanks,
Dave

Yes, we've fixed that issue, and the fix will be included in the next patch.

Here's some wma files of the fixed version (ie the one that isn't shipping yet, but will be included in next patch), which sounds great to me.

btw, if you have a sample song that had the issue, please send it to support@pgmusic.com and ask them to forward it to development and we can test it to make sure that it works fine too.

I'm not showing a RT 2491 in the RT picker, even with the NA option activated. (UltraPak, Build 414, no purchased bonus RTs yet.) It's not in the supertracks dialog either (also with NA's activated). Perhaps this is related to the same problem? Or am I missing something?

Other numbers are missing also from the RT picker (sorted by) number column, with NA activated. If all filters are off, and "show NA" is on, shouldn't the number column be without a gap?

No, because MIDI Supertracks use those numbers n

Thx Peter, yah, I should have said except for super tracks. But as mentioned, I don't see that 2491 in the super tracks dialog either. Hoping the next patch will clear this up. -Ron

Hi rkl122,

For what it's worth, RT 2491 is from Set 208. It might be worth re-installing that set to see if it makes a difference. At the beginning of the installation process, it will tell you what RTs are included (and should be installed).

Regards,
Noel

Hi Noel, thx for the set id, but not sure how to do that. I'd installed BB Ultrapak - ie. should include all RTs except extra-cost bonus tracks - from the USB drive to desktop. I just started up the setup exec in "custom" mode, but don't see any option to install just a single RT set. Maybe 208 is a special bonus thingy?

FWIW, both the RT subfolders on the purchased drive and in my installation contain

Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm RockabillyRockNRollKevin Ev 165

but nothing about a "(SoftLH)"

Gonna hit the sack. Maybe unwrap this mystery from its enigma tomorrow LOL. -Ron

Ok, my apologies on this. I didn't have that last lower left box checked in the RT picker, so was filtering the "out of tempo" entries. RT 2491 is there (and, yeah, now I hear what RobH is talking about).

FWIW, for my (build 414) install, there are 2008 entries in the totally unfiltered RT picker (and another 169 in the Midi Supertrack dialog.) If I look at the RT subfolder in Windows, there are 1333 "instruments". Even after I upgrade to the 49 pak, there will still not be a 1:1 correlation between the number of RTs listed in Windows, and the number reported by the RT picker. PG Support assures that this is proper. I guess they "massage" some of those instruments to create the extra choices in the picker.

HTH someone. -Ron

Correct, because the RT picker also lists "variations" of a RealTracks. For example, an acoustic bass RT might have one that does half notes in 'a', and walking bass in 'b', and another variation that always walking bass in 'a' and 'b'. Or one has a bluesy variation. When we count the RT for the "101 new RealTracks" we aren't including these variations, we are just counting the new recordings, so if you do include the variations, there are many more new RT than 101.
