This is a training video for people who want to get into music theropy.
I have a close friend who is into this and in fact has been hired to play daily at an elderly home. He has taken the necessary courses to do this and more.
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

What a great video, how music impacts the minds of elders (including me)...
Now I will include this video in my opening moment of a seminar I'm giving at the local community auditorium this coming Wednesday at the Homosassa Florida Library.
It's been scheduled for a couple of months, with a title:
"Music Gold" of the 30's/40's/50's...Playing your old music favorites via a hookup to the internet and "streaming clouds"!
Followed by hour long "live" downloads by various to the ears of participants, so they may know "where" to go to "revive their memories...and remember again their memories of the Golden Musical Memories of their lives...
Thanks so much for alluding to this great video...an enlightening moment for me and for the assembled community music-lovers I'll be presenting this to on Wednesday, the 14th of January!!

I've been struggling for years to get The iPod Project (qv) implemented in my nursing home but I'm being brick walled.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Several BIABer friends have searched through their retired iPods (modern mobile phones make iPods obsolete) and sent them to me. I have seen firsthand the joy on the faces of Dementia, Alzheimer, chronic pain patients and other elderly patients upon hearing the music of their youth. Please help me to assist others.
An off-brand mp3 player can be purchased for about the cost of a pizza while providing lasting pleasure to our elderly. I take nothing for my efforts.
