Here my problem,my loops don't follow the chord progression.
I need to learn what I'm doing wrong.
I start with a 4 bar free loop from looperman, a guitar strum in A. I take it into Sonar x3 and view it in loop construction view, save it as a loop to the loop folder in BB.
Ibring up BB chord view, select a style, enter 6-8 chords, mute the tracks, select melody track, select loop for this track. The loop list shows up , I choose the guitar loop I just loaded in the loop folder, which shows up as an acid loop, choose transpose at chord and stretch tempo. Transpose type is chord, root note is the same as the loop recorded in/or the root chord of the key, neither works.
Why will this type of loop not follow the chords of this song.
I have tried putting discordant chords for testing, it simply plays the loop bar after bar as if there were no chords.
I'm sure I've missed a very important path on this method of using loops or have misunderstood loops.

Here's a twist, I changed the key from c to db, just for grins and it transposed and each time after that so I don't know what to say????

Could the tracks have been frozen?

It's working,this morning. PG elves must have snuk in last night and fixed the issue or..... I was so brain dead at that point I couldn't see what I thought I saw.
I have no idea other that changing the key which forced a transpose,knocked a bit loose in the programming, so it would work.
The same 2 bar acid loop from last night, set to retrigger on "Chord" does exactly that, re trigger every chord and if there is not a chord, it plays the second bar of the loop.
Mysteries of the great PG.
