My car, a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, is quiet enough that audio quality (or lack thereof) does in fact show itself very audibly.

The hour or so I spend in the car each day is about the only time I have where I'm intentionally listening to audio, so if I have control over the quality, I use it.

I love the LaughUSA channel (or whatever it's called these days - it used to be Laugh USA on XM).

I also listen to Pandora at home, over the TV, but also through my Smart Phone(s). Pandora quality is fine for background music. I'm not a data compression snob. Pandora sounds like about 128 kbps if I was to take a guess.

I agree, let's help the OP. Anita8, can you describe in more details what the poor quality is you are trying to avoid? Also, please describe the cable that you bought.
