You might try something like the Epiphone Caballero. It is not made anymore -- correction, while verifying this statement I found that they have have a 50 year anniversary model: http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Acoustic-Electric/Ltd-Ed-1964-Caballero.aspx. The advantage is, it is a regular flat top but with a Spanish guitar sized body. Other choices would be other Spanish guitars fitted for steel strings. The difference is the neck. On a regular Spanish guitar the fretboard is flat, regular flat top guitars have an arched fretboard. Willie Nelson plays a guitar made for classical music. You also can see the relatively small body there. Others have already pointed to 3/4 size or 1/2 size guitars. Good luck finding the instrument with success built in.
