Well, there is another way that I sometimes use.
First up let me say that most will find Realband a better option, I find Realband one of life's horrible experiences, tried for years to make it work for me, fail, then promise myself I'll kill myself before I try it again. There, rant finished.

If you use a DAW, works for me in Cubase, Sonar, Reaper, put BIAB in DAW mode select the range you want to change, say bars 5-8, either A) Drag Inst to Drop Pad B) Drag Inst direct to DAW, unto bar 5 in song.

Next, hit Generate and Play button in BIAB and repeat process, you get 2 different renditions.

Not RB Multiriff, but sometimes I think it even quicker, particularly if you're going to do your mix in a DAW anyway.
