I finally managed to get the file up in SoundCloud and discovered in so doing that the creation of a discordant file was nothing to do with either of the two BIAB menu items "Send song to SoundCloud" or the compression by SoundCloud. It actually had something to do with trying to create a RealTrack solo in the middle chorus. Even though I managed to recreate the problem, I still do not know exactly what it is that is going wrong. It just sounds like every track is in a different key. It sounds okay while you are making the solo but when you save it, the corruption occurs.

However, using the 'File' menu item "Send to SoundCloud.com as .wma" worked very well. Being smaller than the original .wav file I used, the processing was much quicker and it sounds okay:

It is the song called "Two Sleepy Trombones In A Lagoon".

Now I'll have to work out what went wrong with creating that extra solo track. Probably some wrong instruction I gave Ian McDougall about creating that middle chorus. laugh
