I want to place notes on my bass clef staff. When I notate any note higher than a B2, the note gets placed in the blank area in between the treble and bass clef. I don't know what setting I need to change to allow me notate only on to the complete staff of the bass clef? What am I doing incorrectly? It is much too confusing visually to have notes in that in between section. I want to keep my bass and melody lines visually separate.

I am writing a tango in 4/4 time. How can I notate one set of triplets in to the first 2 beats? The notation lines are divided into four per beat. I will put quarter notes in to the last two beats of the measure.

I also want to add a second Lead In measure. How do I change that setting?

Thanks

Hi Larry
From the Notation window, change the Clef Split point as shown in first image below, might be the answer you need. You might also need to change the track type to Bass (3)

To change display notation of notes into triplets, change the beats to 3 for the notation display, see further images below that explain one way to achieve this (the note timings need to be relevant for the program to interpret as triplets too)
Hope this helps.
