Dear Biab Developers --
Please consider adding functionality to Biab as follows.
Sorting By Column In Style Picker Window
For example, a click on a column heading will sort the list by that column ascending.
Then another click again on the same column heading will sort the list by the column descending.
A sort indicator would also be nice, to show which column has the current sort and which direction the sort goes.
This would help one sift through the ever-growing styles list faster and easier.
Please consider this for a future version of Biab.

I think there are already threads about Stylepicker now being "behind the times". It needs a revamp it the Team can't do everything at once.
I'd like to see it work like RTs pickerbbut have no idea how. Lol

Hi Mark, I don't know if I'm misunderstanding your post, but the the Realtrack picker does sort exactly as you describe. Click on a column head and it will sort by that column alos, Realtrack picker shows which is the sort column by a asterisk (#1).  If this asterisk cannot be seen, it might be that you have place the cursor on the boundary between headings (#2) and drag the column to the right to make it wider. Regards, Noel

My understanding is that the Style Picker attempts to show you styles in an ordered list, starting at best available to match your filter, more-or-less starting with Real Styles, then Midi Super tracks, then Real Tracks etc...

Dear Noel -- It seems to me that we are talking about different areas. This is the "Style Picker" to which I am referring in my post. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7_Gy5Rt1UpcQU1rRWFieVZCQlk/edit?usp=sharing When I click on the column headers in that dialog, there is no sort. Hi Mark, You and Noel are actually both correct. The "Style Picker" window does not allow sort. Noel was referring to the "Real Tracks" picker window, which does allow sort, but was not probably what you were after. It might be a good one the the Wish List? Cheers Trevor

Yes, you should improve the Style Picker.
A sort function would be very useful, especially for feel, 16/8 and tempo.
You could also show the Instruments of the Style somehow in the sort list.

Dear Biab Developers -- Nice work with the new Biab 2015 version!!! The Everything Pack has ALMOST everything.  Biab still needs support for column-click sorting in the Style Picker Window, as discussed above. Please, please, please, consider adding this feature. Regardless, Biab 2015 is great as-is and I am very thankful for all your hard work and dedication to keep this excellent tool moving forward. Thanks. -- Mark Kamoski

There is no need for seperate windows for songs and styles, it could all be in one window (with clickable headings) A sort of MediaBay

Yes please, one window for songs and styles etc. with clickable column headers and a filter field under each header - then it would be really simple to narrow down what you are looking for. I know how much it speeds up the workflow, because I have implemented that several times in my work.
