The intro in the provided audio sample is a little hard to recreate in Band-in-a-Box, but it is possible.

The first thing you need to keep in mind is that this intro uses a syncopated eighth-note rhythm but Band-in-a-Box only allows one chord per beat (or quarter note.) This means you will have to double the tempo for this rhythm, and although the rhythm only takes up one bar of the song, you will need to allot two bars since the tempo will be doubled.

This is what you will insert in those two bars:

E7#9. E7#9.. E7#9.. E7#9. | E7#9.. E7#9.. E7#9. E7#9..

One dot equals a rest, two dots equals a shot. So entering this pattern gives you the "(rest) da da (rest) da da (rest) da" rhythm you are looking for.

Remember to double the tempo via the Bar Settings dialog at the beginning of this pattern, and set it back to normal on the bar following this pattern.

As for RealStyles, try _BRITJON.STY out for size.
