solidrock Expert S Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 1,827	If you go to Media Properties in your VLC player it should give the codec bitrate info or get MediaInfo for right click properties. MP4 could be using Xvid DivX or H264. Try to lower the bitrate in WMV. Also check the output frame size/rate. You should be able to get similar size/quality mp4/wmv
