First which version of PT?

But on your specific example above I can get similar behavior (PT 2014) because PT is busy actually looking at the song data and making options for/deciding "does he want to up or down transpose" and how far (up 7 down 5, etc.)

On a typical 3 minute'ish rock song I went from default "C" to "G" and it was instantaneous but when I tried to go BACK to "C" even on my relatively screaming PC took about 6-8 seconds before I got control of the panel again to click "OK." I could see PT CPU go up - it was busy. This "busy'ness" is not constant however, sometimes PT thinks longer than other times.

Although, IF I double CLICK while it's busy the "OK" button just happens to be situated right between the boundaries of tracks 3 and 4. If I double click between ANY tracks (when mouse course changes to a up-down arrow for resizing track height) it opens the lower tracks Notation window! I bet yours open track 4 notation window?

Not saying it should, I NEVER knew it did that (handy but not sure it's suppose to either so you may have something there)

EDIT

Just checked in RB (2015/build6) same behavior and if lower track (next track down) is an Audio track it opens the Audio edit window, if nothing else "cool"

Is this yet another thing everyone knew except me?
