Hi Rachael, I finally got around to trying your second idea on a different song and it worked. Here is exactly what I did to be used as notes for myself or anyone else. - Go to "Editable Notation Mode". You see vertical dash lines splitting the quarter notes into 16ths or triplets.
- Click the "Opt." button on the far left side in the lowest tool bar area.
- In the middle column of the "Notation Window Options" you see "Clefs split at".
- Change the "Clefs split at" value from the default C4 to a value of C3.
- You still have to click the notes on the bass staff area but the result shows the notes properly for lead sheets.
