Try this experiment and see if it helps.

When you get that error message power down, wait a few minutes to clear all ram, power up then open that program again. I'm wondering if a program is not shutting down its ASIO link. I have had that happen with some other programs.

Also are your drivers, including your graphic card, up to date. Believe it or not I have read that graphic card drivers can mess up audio.

What do you have running in the background? Did you turn off your anti-virus during installation? Is the sample rate in your Roland the same as in RB and/or is Roland's sample rate compatible with RB? The more information you can give us the better we can track this problem down.
