In Realband run the imported track with the ACW. (Audio Chord Wizard.) It will tell you the average tempo of the track you are importing from the cd. Then you can set your project tempo to that and build your other RT's around it.

To create your own Realtrack known as User Tracks it's a little more complicated. See the tutorial video and the User Track forums. You can't just add a prerecorded wav file. There are some great RT's available already in the style your doing be sure to check them out.
