Those that own Focusrite interfaces have a brand new toy waiting on their Focusrite web page, Focusrite Website.

They just released a new EQ and Compressor plugin. Here's a copy of the note from my Sweetwater rep who notified me.

Focusrite has just released an updated version of their famous RED plugin suite. Their Red2 EQ and Red3 compressor are based on classic Focusrite analog hardware and can now be easily added to any DAW of your choice as 64 bit AAX/AU/VST plugins.

This new suite of plugins will be selling for $299 on their own, but you as an owner of a Focusrite Scarlett/Saffire/Forte interface purchased from Sweetwater can get these FOR FREE. Simply login to your Focusrite account and you'll be able to download the plugin installer.

If for any reason you're considering a new Focusrite interface purchase, the RED suite will be included with all new interfaces sold as well.

Also, keep an eye out for more information regarding Focusrite's brand new Thunderbolt powered Clarett interfaces that were just announced at NAMM.
