Rob, thanks for the response. I checked the site out awhile back, there is only the one site of third-party RealDrums. Which I have just ordered (thus prompting this inquiry...)
I have not had any luck with User Tracks so far. I DLed all the ones that seemed useful, and while they mostly worked, they weren't anything inspiring. (FWIW, I am only interested in jazz and Latin jazz, fusion, funk, soul and modern blues, some pop, but almost no country, reggae, electronica/dance or rap. I'm a a jazz guy at a restaurant gig...
And it is QUITE possible I just am not using User Tracks correctly...
What WOULD be useful is bass tracks to songs that have signature bass parts (Song For My Father, So What are examples.) I can play them in, but my left hand chop is crap these days, and I hate to quantize. I have BiaB song books with changes and melody, but they use the style's bass. (I assume these are not in the User Tracks either?)
Cottage industry, anyone? (small cottage for sale...)
