Mac's way is the way to get a midi file from biab to an audio file. Maniactools is to convert a midi file that you have not (for whatever) reason run through BIAB. For example, I've downloaded some midi files, off the net, that I wanted to use without using biab. I used the ManiacTools pgm before I ever bought BIAB. I'm sure there are lots of other pgms out there that will do the same thing and more though, and some are just audio file conversion pgms.
