that's blues at its best! Your voice and guitar make it special.
I like that live ambience you mixed in.
You chose a very nice sax and piano.

Liked everything, but particularly your guitar work - superb blues playing.
A nice live feel to the band, enhanced by the audience participation.

Outstanding write and recording!
The crowd sound effects sold me on the idea that you had recorded "I Thought You Ought To Know" live at a club even though I knew better from reading your notes prior to listening. The illusion worked until the end of the sax solo. The crowd noise begins and ends too abruptly after the solo.

Thanks for listening and commenting Rob. I appreciate it. Tom Good stuff... and a great blues write. Herb, I played many years in a country band and I insisted that we mix in some blues. The hard core country guys were totally against it at first, but in the end I won them over. Hope I can do the same here. Thanks for the kind words. Tom Oh yeah!!! Now this is blues.
