Hi Paj,

Thank you for your reply.

I believe that the amPlug I/O is almost identical to your Acoustic amPlug except that it has a USB computer connection for feeding guitar audio into the PC. Other than a UTube video I have not seen an amPlug in use so I am seeking information as to performance, sound quality and compatibility with PTracks [and/or RBand]. Details of the amPlug I/O can be seen on the VOX website.

I recently ugraded my PC from XP to Windows 7 [64Bit] and because of complications involved in transferring my Audigy Platinum soundcard/audio interface to W7 I am left without an audio interface on the W7 PC which will work with PT/RB. I have an IK Multimedia Stealth Pedal which was purchased, at around £200, as an upgrade from the Audigy and as a controller for Amplitube and this works fine with Cubase and my recently purchased Cakewalk Sonar X3/Artist but will not work with PowerTracks. I am therefore looking for an inexpensive interface to connect with PT and wish to be certain before purchase that the interface is compatible with PowerTracks --- I wish to avoid wasting money on a further non-compatible audio interface. Hence my interest in the Vox amPlug I/O and also, you may have seen from my other post, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo. Presently I am leaning towards the Focusrite but need some feedback for both interfaces before proceeding.

I find PowerTracks to be an easy logical DAW to work with and this is why I am looking for a second economical interface to be dedicated to PT so it is frustrating to not be able to easily resolve compatibility doubts.
