Before you buy anything I would make sure that the wav specs are 44.1 kHz x 16 bit and that the wavs do not have a lot of silence prior to the song. I have been caught on these before.

Also I have found that the Window's Media Player is about the worst burner that I have ever tried. YMMV.

If possible can you burn the wav(s) on another computer, maybe at a library? That way you can determine if your burner has bit the dust. If not put a couple up here via dropbox and/or send them to me and I'll see if I can burn them.
