This is my experience.
I have ST2.5 and Amplitube as stand alones; however they want ASIO drivers and one of them (can't remember which) will NOT release ASIO thereby blocking use in other apps. That app then crashes.
I've been thinking of removing both stand alones; but haven't talked to IK as yet as to the procedure. I think I may have to reinstall and uncheck the stand alone??
