Have you thought about re-packaging the multi-styles into single styles with multiple sub-styles. That way, you can just choose sub-style C and D via the part markers. You still need the individual style files available, but that would make for a consolidated style where you don't have to F5 the particular bar and change styles. You just have to change the part marker.
