I like it with the accordion.... I would have used it a bit more.... with fills starting in the second verse....and had them up at a volume where you know what you're listening to. Use it for fill and turnarounds and such in the verses and choruses..... the way I look at using fill instruments is.... any place the singer is NOT singing is a potential place to use a fill.... not all empty places need to be filled but many can be with excellent results. That's a call you have to make.

I think the accordion was a good idea.... tweek it and don't be afraid to let it be heard. If you use something... go all in or pull it out completely and don't use it.... that's kinda how I look at using instruments.

As I've come to expect from you, it's very evocative - echoes of City of New Orleans.

Nice work! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

I like this song a lot Bob. The accordion fits it well but I have to admit I liked the wah guitar you had on it before too. smile

Bob, The accordion is a good fit on this one. Once again the congas work to perfection. Another good write. I enjoyed it a lot! Tom

Another keeper, Bob.

I especially enjoyed how you put a delay in the pronunciation of WIN-dow sill. It creates listeners' interest.

Good lyrics (as usual) and a fitting melody reminiscent of Dylan, yet fresh and original, your gifted earmarks.

Few artists have made it by mimicking others. You stand on your own here.

Production: Spot on!

Thanks for sharing.
