THanks for the mention ROG!!! there's timing init grin

This song is about a member of a welsh "spice girls" wannabe group I met when I was recording an album for them and then there was their dancing phew.......................err where was I oh yeh. Her name was Rashelle so she was the rash I didn't want penicillin to cure, blond and always dressed to kill, my cat wore more than she did. she was 19 and I wasn't anywhere near! so she became the daughter I was glad I didn't have. The group soon broke up so she decided to move in for a year or two and I soon had more visitors than a stately home every day.including a troupe of male strippers/dancers who once tried to show us the tricks.*shudder* egged on by the girls. hmmph!
This is her.

2 sexy for me
one two
you got that look
you got the look that without even trying
you got that smile
you got the smile that makes a grown man cry
when you walk like 2 rats in a sack
once you're hooked theres no turning back
you're a disease for thats for sure
a little rash that penicllin won't cure

oh baby uh huh youre 2 sexy for me.CMONCMOMCMON OW
show me wot u mean your 2 sexy hone

i love the way your lips move as you talk
loose concentration ah when you're dancing
you shake your body like its outa control
you got rhythm in-built in your soul
oh baby uh huh you're 2 sexy for me.CMONCMOMCMON OW
show me wot u mean your'e 2 sexy honey

2 sexy for me x 3

you got the look of beelzebub's bride
you got a smile that needs an alibi
you do things to me that i can't explain
oh i don't care i gotta see it again
oh baby uh huh you're 2 sexy for me.CMONCMOMCMON OW

Recorded in Cubase SX and mastered in Soundforge.
*******************

The song was originally all me on guitars and bass with MIDI drums but I thought maybe RT's would improve it and they did but changed, in my mind, the ACDC sound more to Aerosmith so I took off my school shorts and cap, put on a cape and ran around the studio, gurning at the cat, while I sang! It was a labour of love trying to get the RTs to match my original riff...ooh for 8 chord cells per bar mad grin

enjoy

Wow Alyn, this one has it all except the video. Oh, no, it's there too. This one is already over the top but the video puts a face/body?? with the lyrics and pushed things off the chart.

This is one of your best.

Enjoyed it a lot.

There's a lot to like about this. I like the energy in this and with a slight modification to the tracks.... personally, I'd lose the horns and go more in the Aerosmith/ AC/DC direction..... I didn't read that last measure of your post until after I listened to the song and I was already thinking this needs more in your face rock and it would be an AC/DC style tune ....straight up and hard, in your face charging.....

Cool song... but there's some strange "visuals" in there.. comparing a woman's walk to two "rats in a sack"... I must say, of all the things I would use to describe a woman's walk... that would never be one of them...and I'd probably say she's "LIKE" a disease you can't cure, not IS a disease.... kinda sounds a bit nicer than calling her a disease..... ALTHOUGH.... that's something I could hear Bon Scott saying and singing...... so in that context, yeah, it might be ok.

Good job

I'll add another WOW to the reviews, Alyn!

This is my new favourite song of yours! Man, you Brits really know how to make music!

When the song started, I had to look real close to make sure it wasn't Mick and the stones.. and later when the support instruments kicked in, it reminded me of some of Rod Stewart's stuff.

I'm going to weigh in favourably on the horns and strings... partly because they draw the song away from the stereotype that might otherwise suggest a different approach... nut mostly because what you did with them was so innovative. A lot of decorations like that end up being very obvious notes that follow the chords, but your accents were completely unique unto themselves, and that does a lot to add zest and energy to a song. And ENERGY! WOW.. This song has energy in spades!

One of the most entertaining numbers I've heard here recently.. it would be a great tune to hear live!

I'm impressed! Keep 'em coming! (I can see this one showing up on PGMusic's Facebook page, as its very captivating and hearing it makes you want to BUY BIAB immediately so you can make a song that cool!)

Hey Alyn, impeccable timing, yeah.

Well, I'm astounded by this one.

There might be some Stones, ACDC, Aerosmith and later on some Roy Wood in there, but at the end of it all it's just pure Alyn.

Needs playing LOUD for the best effect. What a blast! What a song!

Stupendous vocal track this time around - how do you DO that?

I'm tempted to say this is your best track yet, but all your efforts are so varied it's impossible to make a direct comparison. Certainly, it's one of the best things I've heard in ages.

You're gonna find it hard to follow this one, my friend.

ROG.

PS - that girl looks scarey.

I love the word swagger, that is exactly what I was after but couldn't think of the word!! Glad you enjoyed

Charlie
I had to include a picture of her to show what I was singing about and that's the most amount of clothes she wore in my house!!
Thanks for commenting

Herb
My version with just me and MIDI was a tribute to ACDC but somehow didn't have the swagger (Thanks Bob wink ) and also my solo didn't fit /was awful.

In my neck of the woods in the UK, Wales, 2 rats etc is used to describe a lady that wiggles her bum when walking, they aren't fighting just adjusting themselves to get comfortable.
She was like a rash, she was bloody everywhere in the house; hair dye on the carpet; tights above the bath; half drunk cups of tea under the chairs etc so it was like having a rash that wouldn't go away. She seemed to like the analogy 'cos she knew about it from the time I first thought of it!!

Anyway laugh thanks a lot for listening and commenting

YEH us Brits RAWK!!!
Thanks for getting the one, two as that was my tribute to Mick, I even tried cowbells as well but no, oh no ... no!
The horn section bit was split into 2 or 3 note chords for different sounds even tho' I played it with 4-5 note, plus mistakes, stabs. I never noticed the accents , they were just lucky mistakes.

Thanks for the WOW!! And yeh that WOULD be great live but at my age now I would need a quiet lie-down in a dark room afterwards blush

Guenter Thanks for commenting. When I added the RTs the energy seemed to take off

Tom Thanks mate and my vocals are like that because of years of smoking, altho that word reminds me of Jim Carey and The Mask SMOKIN!

ROG,
When I saw your post I did think of waiting a bit but then I though NAH...Let us both show them Yanks how to rock *ducks*

In 1973ish I heard Roy Wood's album Boulders on which he played all the instruments himself and I thought THAT'S what I'm gonna do. I am humbled by the comparison to a great songwriter and performer.

My vocals, I think, were take 22!! and my voice was becoming very tired, so maybe that's the secret, hmmm.

Rash was a really nice girl, when slouched in front of the TV, but when performing she oozed s*x as in that video. Everybody thought I was..... but I wasn't frown I also "bounced" a few guys who tried it on, NOW that was scary!!

Thanks for listening and commenting,

Alyn

Watch out Mick Jagger!! This one really rocks. Love that big, trashy drum sound. How'd you process the drums? Very, very cool!! Take care. Greg

Wouldn't mind hearing the original version.
Style really suits your vocals.
Great comment here "daughter I was glad I didn't have."
Cheers.

Well Alyn,

We think that this is definitely your best contribution so far!
We love the energy in this, the vocals, and Rob especially likes the keyboards (or at least what sounds like keyboards, probably the brass section) here.
This definitely rocks!

Hi Alyn,

Right at the opening guitar riff I thougt Dave HIll, Noddy Holder and Slade!!!

But in fact it's a Gibson production, all the way!

I like what you did with it! I would move the vocals a little more in front, but I'm like Floyds drums thing, I always think that!

This is an intelligent mix!

Love it!

Grts,

Fred

Hi Alyn. That is a very funny story. I had a look at the Raschelle video. I would love to see a video of YOUR song. Why not try and get permission from her use some of her images in your video? And maybe even a bit of a mash up of her song in there? Wouldn't that be awesome!

202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). And for big, bold arrangements, we have uptempo soul horns (4) featuring a three-part hip horn section with options for a full mix or stems of each individual horn — plus an accompanying rhythm section (4) of drums, bass, guitar, and electric piano!

Rock & Pop (Sets 476–482):
Our new rock & pop RealTracks bring a powerful mix of requested favorites, fresh genres, and modern chart-inspired styles! We have more of our popular “Producer Layered Acoustic Guitars (15)” featuring Band-in-a-Box favorite Brent Mason. We’ve continued our much-requested disco styles (10), and added new Celtic guitar (5) with a more basic, accessible approach than our previous Drop-D or DADGAD offerings. There are also highly requested yacht rock styles (17), inspired by the smooth, polished soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s — laid-back grooves, silky electric pianos, warm textures, elegant harmonic movement, and pristine production aesthetics. Fans of heavier styles will love our new glam metal (13), capturing the flashy, high-energy sound of ’80s arena-ready guitar rock. We also have a set of rootsy modern-folk rock (18), with a warm, organic sound combining contemporary folk textures and driving acoustic strumming. And we’ve added lots of new modern pop styles (16) — the kinds of sounds you’re hearing on the radio today, featuring exciting new drums, synths, and cutting-edge RealTracks arrangements.

Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.

Check out all the 202 new RealTracks (in sets 468-488)!

And, if you are looking for more, the 2026 49-PAK (for $49) includes an impressive collection of 20 bonus RealTracks, featuring exciting and inspiring additions to add to your RealTracks library.
