Hi,
On the PC version, instruments on the Soloist or Melody tracks are not affected by exclusions.
Again on a PC (so it may or may not be relevant) ... if the soloist is on say the Piano track, then typing a P after the command for the effect will exclude whatever instrument is on the Piano track.
For example: X...p (where X is the chord)
The above three dots instruct BIAB to hold the chord but the Piano track will be excluded from that hold. It's also possible to use D, S, G, B to exclude the other tracks.
For example: X...dpg will exlude the Drum, Piano and Guitar tracks from the hold.
