Hi all. This is driving me nuts #£#@#£. I have a project ready to render to use in cubase . hit the way button and it plays. When it's finished only the real tracks are there none of the midi. It says I need to set midi to record, WHERE? I use an maudio sound card not a synth. It seems to suggest setting up a soft synth, coyote or dxi whatever and then speaks Martian. I'm a musician not a programmer, what do I do now? Thanks, off for a drink now
Hi both, I'm using an Maudio USB sound card to my speakers. When rendering to wav I hear EVERYTHING but only the real tracks appear in the project folder not the midi. Q2 from Andrew, I check vsti/dxi and i think that's when it says I need some sort of soft synth. I'm lost from there. Dino
Click on the 'Synth Settings' button in the Driver Setup dialog (see the screenshot that VideoTrack posted above). Then, see if you can select the CoyoteWT in the top drop-down menu, as shown in the screenshot below. If the CoyoteWT isn't there, then it must not be installed on your computer. You can install it using your Band-in-a-Box installer, as long as it is from the last few years. When you run the installer it should show you a list of components that can be installed. Make sure that "Coyote WT" or "Coyote DXi synth" is checked. In fact you could uncheck everything else to make it simple.
