Is there a way to type in a name or text on a bar. I would like to name a bar where the verses are , solo bar starts, chorus starts etc.. When I have an ending "end" shows up automatically. I would like to name some other sections...Thank, Je

If you have Version 2015, there is Section Text (where you can type Intro, Verse, etc.) and also Section Letters (for rehearsal purposes, like A, B etc.).
Go into Editable Notation Mode (two buttons to the right of the Print button, under the Piano Roll and Audio Edit icons). Then right-click in the staff on the measure where you want the text to appear. There are several options regarding placement.

I found this feature introduced in BIAB 2009 while perusing some older BIAB documentation: You can now easily enter section text on the notation window. Typing a backslash, followed by text, puts that text at the beginning of the current bar as a boxed section text message. So in the chord grid at the bar where you want to add section, type a backslash followed by the text you want. I haven't tried this yet (I'm not at my music machine right now), but it's worth the two seconds to give it a try.

I tried the above suggestions and they will put the text on the notation selection, but cant get it read out on the chord sheet selection.any ideas ??
Would like to see the text while entering the chords.

That's a good point. It works in the Fakesheet View, but I don't think you will see this text in the Chordsheet View.
If I'm correct, this might be a good item for the BIAB Wishlist.
