Thanks Pat, We always appreciate your thorough comments, and the time and energy you put into it. A great asset to this forum! I did the backing vocal myself on this one, seemed more appropriate for this song. And yes, I'm going to have to write her another one for her upcoming birthday. Not sure if I'm going to manage this year, it's all a matter of inspiration (but then again, there's always next year  ). The guitar decoration in the middle: the 2448 PopDreamy Brent realtrack always comes in handy. This realtrack is simply great, fits in almost anywhere. The lyrics: pretty down to earth and direct. Not my usual style of songwriting. But I thought it was time these words were spoken in one of my songs. Thanks again for your very nice comments! Rob

Wow! I really think this is a great song! It seems like it could be a Dan Fogelberg song to me. I really like the feel and execution of it.

In the past, I've written how your songs are fantastically sung and brilliantly produced... But then I'll add start whining saying stuff like too abstract and stream of consciousness and blah blah whine complain...  This isn't one of those songs. Great job, no ifs, ands or buts.
