Here's a song about frustrated love, written in 1983 for a girl who is still a friend, though happily married. The guitar arpeggios, tamborine and strings are overdubbed.

As Rob said, nice retro sound. A bit like the early Hollies to me. Enjoyed the listen but found the guitar riff to be a small bit distracting.
