Martin, there's a pretty cool app for the Nintendo DS that lets you use strumming motion across the strings on the screen on one screen and choose chords on the other screen for a quite realistic 'campfire guitar' accompaniment wherever you are. I can't remember the name of it.
There's also a cool 4 track recorder for the iPhone that looks to be quite a bit more powerful than the basic 4 track cassette machines of old.
