For a quick symphonic interlude, I have often let BIAB generate a part using one of the new string quartets. Then I take that into a notation software, strip out what I don't like, and rework the parts. Then I take that as MIDI into my DAW (SONAR) and add the BIAB tracks, and modify from there.

MIDI has no sound at all. It is simply instructions. The quality of what it plays is up to you by tweaking the MIDI and using a good hardware or software synth.
