So Long Miss Fickle (Feat. Lawrence Olivier)One of my projects this year is to produce an album with various collaborators. The idea is that the album will consist of mainly original songs with other artists doing the lead vocal with me adding harmonies and/or a second part as appropriate. Here is the first collaboration with Lawrence (Gruverider). Lawrence made a few adjustments to the lyric and kindly recorded this magnificent vocal. He also sent me a video of him doing the recording in his home studio. I add a few harmonies and did the mixing and produced the video. The real tracks are: Bass 1122 Guitars 1815 and 854 Cello – A midi cello with Dimension Pro Lyrics are: When your breakfast is frozen and your coffee’s all gone When your house turns to rubble and the light won’t turn on When your pipes have all broken and your hopes washed away Don’t think that you can come crawling to me So long Miss Fickle, Just like a Yo-yo, you tell me you're happy, you come and you go You’re hot then you're cold, and you drift to and fro Don’t think that you can come crawling to me When your favourite pink lipstick falls right through the floor And all of your colours, Go right out the door Your favourite café’s closed and your tap has run dry Don’t think that you can come crawling to me CHORUS There's nothing to do here no need to regret Resentment won’t serve me in the space that it gets My stories not over you'll hear of me yet And one day you'll want to come crawling to me CHORUS

Bob This one is really over the top guys. I've always liked this song and it really worked for me with the male lead vocal. Great vocals and harmonies by the way. Charlie - Thank you. There are some more in the pipeline so keep tuned! The song certainly is more interesting with as male singing lead. More appropriate. It was easy to fit the harmonies in with the wonderful lead provided by Lawrence.

It's a very nice and original idea to redo some of your songs this way. You are a gifted songwriter.
(Our contribution is coming within the next couple of weeks).
This first collaboration with Lawrence is beautifully done. It's also nice to see him in a video for a change, haha.

Very enjoyable song and video - excellent sound on the trax. The song has the feel of an Irish ballad - Which can deliver a message of blessing or in this case the opposite - Miss Fickle has been served her warning! Best Wishes---Pete
