Look at the tracks and you will probably find that the fade is achieved by reducing values of CC7 or CC11 at the end of the tracks. Highlight the Fade area in the tracks and select "Cut" confirm the start and end of the cut area in the range boxes then check "Use Data Filter". In the Data Filter Panel uncheck all the Boxes except for "CTRL" and enter 7 in the first Range Box and 11 in the second. This will remove the fade. Regretfully, Noel's method would retain the suspect Continuous Controller data.
