Realtracks are audio tracks and, as such, will not save as midi files.

If a Realtrack has notation associated with it (not all do), it's possible to create a midi file using the notation. To do that, simply drag the generated Realtrack to the midi quadrant of drop area (see image below).



If a RT has notation associated with it, it will have a line under the name of the track. In the above image, "Piano" has notation associated with it.
