The customized in ear monitoring systems can be very expensive.

If you need a budget backup that sounds relatively decent..... look at the noise canceling ear buds. I like the Creative EP-630. Less than $20 and sounds great. Check Amazon. They have them from $2 up to $50.... depending on the seller. I tend to get them for around $15 a pair.... and keep some new ones here as spares for when I break or lose them....or my daughter comes up losing hers.

I've used them in my studio when tracking since the Rode can hear the bleed from a normal set of cans..... the EP's are much quieter in that regard.

A set of these EP's came with a computer I bought many years back and I loved how these buds sound and more importantly how they fit. Soft rubber cups fit well.... there's 3 sizes included.... and they block the outside sounds fairly well.... much better than most ear buds. That aspect, the nice fit and seal, gives you super bass response that you do not get with the buds that just set there. Try them.... I think you'll become a fan.
