Erm, I answered the survey question literally (no). Yes, I think it should be done. But unless you are a luthier I think someone else should do it. NOI; I've busted a truss rod myself. Fortunately it was on an instrument that had no great value. I do electric guitar and bass setups (action and intonation) and minor electrical/electronic work (including installing the GK-3 synth pickup on my own axe, which involved tolerances of fractions of a millimeter), and charge for it--but leave any more advanced work involving the wood to a shop.
