I originally recorded this tune in the early 60's. I recently heard it for the first time in years, and felt that it was good enough to re- record. It's played in the style of The Shadows (England's answer to the Ventures), featuring the classic Shadows guitar techniques like palm muting (dripping with echo), lots of vibrato, double stops and melodic playing- all done on A Stratocaster bridge pickup. Yep, certainly harkens to the Shadows and the Ventures. Really enjoyed it. If you revisit the mix you might want to consider bumping drums up a bit. BUT it might just be my tastes or monitors or old ears  Cool playing and tone. Nice!! J&B

I always liked that clean lyrical style.
Some of the surf music is similar. Good one.
